A Summer Engagement Session at Tenney Park

Tenney Park is such a beautiful spot for engagement photos in Madison, with a surprising amount of variety packed into one easy-to-explore location. Between the stone bridges, peaceful lagoon, mature trees, and Lake Mendota shoreline, there are plenty of different backdrops without having to travel far.

We spent this summer evening wandering through the park, stopping along the bridges, water, and tree-lined paths as we went. It was a relaxed, easygoing session and one of those evenings where we could simply take our time and enjoy the park while creating a really beautiful variety of images.

If you’re looking for a Madison engagement photo location that offers water, greenery, and a little architectural character, Tenney Park is one of my favorites.
